What To Do For A Wasp Sting

what to do for a wasp sting
Why do wasps sting for no reason?

I have a six-year old who asks a lot of questions. He wants to know, if it’s just a self-defence thing then why would a wasp just come up and deliberately sting him? He has loads more questions like this, including “what am I for?”…
Answers on a postcard please… :-)

Well, I don’t think they do “just come up and deliberately sting” him or anyone. I’m just guessing here, but I’d think wasps only fly a certain distance from their hive/nest and consider anyone within that range to be a trespasser. So the wasp probably thinks it’s ok to do it. He entered the wasp’s zone, that’s why. Just a guess.
