Are these common reactions to A Bee Sting?

I got stung by what I think was just a regular pollination bee about five hours ago. The area got swollen, but it subsided. However, I have these really tiny red bumps around the sting area but they don’t itch or hurt. The area is really tingly though. Is this normal?

Hi my husband is a beekeeper so we are used to being stung. Yes that is a normal reaction. Try really hard not to touch the area and we have found the best remedy (and other beekeepers do this too) is to put honey on the sting. It helps with any pain and keeps the swelling down although I guess you are not swollen anymore. I swell up terrible but as long as you get the stinger out asap and then apply honey and try hard not to scratch at it when it itches. By scratching you help the venom spread under your skin. Sounds like you are on the mend!!
