Itchy skin and what looks like bites…..is it hives??

I used to get hives as a child but cannot remember what they were like. I have been under increadble stress at the moment…..more than usual….bitter divorce and custody. Anyway I have small round raised bumps which are increadbly itchy, they appear on my arms, hands and legs. They have been there and still itchy after 5 days!

Re previous answer – if you have scablies there will be tiny red lines around the bumps, and the worst areas would be between your fingers. If this is the case, you can get a lotion from your doctor which will get rid of it.

They may well be a reaction to stress. Everyone reacts differently to stress. Are you looking after yourself well? Eating well, getting plenty of water and rest? Try some relaxation exercises. Good luck.
