What is a good treatment for A Bee Sting?

My 11 yr old son got stung by a bee yesterday. The stinger has been removed, we’ve made a poulice of water & baking soda, given him a antihsiamine. The area of the sting is very warm to the touch and red the size of a half dollar. What should I watch for? What more can I do?

the first few hours after the sting can cause some severe allergic reactions but since its passed 4 hrs, he’s safe.

the area will cool down and the swelling will go away by itself.
