Yellow Jacket Bee Sting Treatment
Would a bee allergy happen within the first few minutes of being stung?
My 3 year old had his first bee (yellow jacket) sting. It has been 15 min. ago and he seems fine now. His poor face is swollen (it got him on the side of the nose by his eye). But I’m still worried (being a new mama) that a severe reaction could happen. Treatment given = cold presses and baking soda paste. Thank goodness daddy was there to grab him and run. We found 2 nests under his play slide.
Since it’s been 15 minutes he should be ok swollen is normal for a sting but wait a few more minutes maybe another 15 to 20 if something does happen call a doctor or take him to a walk in clinic. Hope everything is fine and works out!
