Treat Insect Bite
what could this be an Insect Bite or boil?
for 4days I had a bump or welt swell up on my left side on labia. that was paining me So I treated it with neosporin that cause it to burn.
than I try aloe which still cause it to burn finally I try this External itch spray by monstat that cause it to soften up and bleed. Now I am treat it with nothing, I kno this can`t be a std because the bump would of been show up and plus I had bloodwork done at obgyn and the only thing came back that I had trich and Bv
Plus I talked with nurse asking if there any other stds I needed to be tested for she told me no because they tested for everything.
A hard marble or pea under the skin? It’s probably a sebaceous cyst. I’m not saying this right but I think it’s a blocked sweat or sebaceous gland as opposed to a blocked follicle. If it’s follicle related, you should see a hair. If not, probably a cyst. The vaginal area is filled with glands for sweat and lube, plus you got all that hair there too.
Unfortunately, there’s not much you can do. They can last a few days and go away on their own or sometimes forever and have to be surgically removed. Very important, try not to squeeze it or mess with it in any way. Squeezing can make it worse and cause an infection which can lead to pain like you can’t believe. Then you may need a course of antibiotics. Will either go away in a few days or may get worse and pop on it’s own. May start to develop a white head if not already. Putting neosporin seems to help, overthecounters for pain, hot bath or hot towels, a heating pad etc. may help too. Try to use the most mildest soap you can find down there. Like Dove for instance.
These can be very frightening because of the area but are actually quite common so try to relax. Also some people are prone to them and now you may be too and possibly get another. See a doctor if not relieved in a few days or pain gets worse. Don’t be tempted to pop yourself or mess with it too much as it will go away quicker if you don’t.
